Spring the Trap
Following the Khyber shard shipment the Stormrunner was carrying we end up in Passage. In short time we are waylaid by a group of hired goons who we dispatch with ease. We interrogate the lone survivor and get out of him that he was hired by some strange priest guy. We go to the collection spot in disguise to catch this priest guy and HL uses a spell to follow him around to his hideout. A Blood of Vol safehouse. Once inside we corner a group of worshippers and the priest guy and start a fight. The priest teleports away and we clean up his minions, and search the place. The minions know little about the priest’s plans but we find blueprints for another Eldritch machine, this one called a Soul Prison. Apparently it is used to take victims, place them into a coffin, and manipulate their soul in such away that they become thralled to whoever uses the machine on them. This design seems intended for the Khyber shards that we are hunting down so it becomes more imperative to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
