Objectives: Coordinate with other Keeper teams to stop the Closed Circle’s coordinated attack on multiple seals.

Outcome: 

Deep within the haunted reaches of the Shadow Marshes, the Oath Keepers undertook a critical mission to defend a Gatekeeper Seal against a looming threat tied to the betrayal of one of their own. The journey began with a strategic visit to Ugar’rak Torrn—known simply as “Unk”—a respected Gatekeeper elder. Their goal: gather vital intelligence on the seal’s defenses and the dark legacy of the fallen Seeker, Draal Dhur.

Once revered as the Hunter of Corruption, Draal Dhur’s descent into madness has become a chilling legend. Once a protector of the land, Dhur allegedly began listening to sinister “voices beyond,” turning his knowledge of the seals into a weapon. His betrayal left many of the Gatekeeper Seals vulnerable, and it was with this shadow looming that the Oath Keepers proceeded to the site.

Upon arrival, the team was met with a puzzle involving three ancient pillars etched with shifting symbols. Through collaboration and intuition, they realigned the images to gain access to the temple hidden within—a chamber housing four ominous hourglasses, each flowing at different speeds.

The objective soon became clear: synchronize the flow of sand so all grains fell in unison. Failure summoned grotesque creatures—”abortions”—who attacked relentlessly. As the party fought back, sounds of battle echoed through the walls, revealing that fellow Oath Keepers across distant regions were also defending their respective seals at that exact moment.

Despite the mounting pressure, the adventurers eventually achieved the impossible. Their precise coordination caused the last grains of each hourglass to fall simultaneously, dispelling the summoned horrors and reinforcing the seal’s power.

The success not only staved off a potential breach, but also affirmed the interconnectedness of the seals—and the rising threat posed by Draal Dhur’s influence. The Oath Keepers remain vigilant, their resolve hardened as they prepare for what may come next.
