Objectives: Investigate the origin of unsettling and suspicious text in recent issues of the Korranberg Observer and put a stop to it by whatever means necessary.

Outcomes: Korranberg Observer’s suspicious text found to be verbal components of a mind altering spell, specifically one which essentially hypnotized the reader and left them very pliable to outside suggestion of any kind. Editions containing this spell were distributed to a large number of civilians across Eberron causing mass chaos and hysteria. Members of Korransberg Observer leadership and most of staff found to be corrupted by unknown magic including chief editor Alberto Tomassi. Headquarters of Observer raided and forcibly seized. Compromised staff neutralized permanently and distribution of newspapers stopped temporarily until situation can be fully resolved.

Personal Notes: It is not fully known where the source of the corruption came from but it may have come from Tomassi himself. Among our Keeper group, we had one member of the Korranberg Observer, H.L., who will likely facilitate in reassembling the shattered pieces of the Observer. There was also a Karrnathian military warforged in our group named Cinque, she likely gained sentience recently. I’m afraid understandably she did not trust me very much and I don’t think I’ll be able to fix that due to events that transpired soon afterwards…
