Objectives: Follow information from the Dead Letters Archive to investigate Dr. Casper Darling and the texts from the Mournlands he has been translating.
Outcome: We learned that Dr. Darling was translating copies of stone tablets from the Mournlands. He got the documents from Dr. Dennis Mallory DDS, who got them from his contact, who we identified as Dylan Faden, who operates in Fennrun. We learned they were researching warp magic. We also made contact with the director of the Shadow Network in Wroat and reinforced our alliance with them by helping clear out some citizens infected with warp magic at their theatre.

WROAT – If you’re looking for entertainment in Wroat, look no further than the Royal Breland Theatre and the Shadow Playwright Society of Wroat. They have an exciting new show with fabulous new arcane special effects: SHADOW PLAY II. Advertised as a living shadow spectacle, this riveting tale about the cycle of life and death will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat, and not just because some of the audience members were infected with warp magic.

Yes, the premier did have some small technical difficulties with a little bit of wild necromantic magic infiltration. Those infected, however, were exceedingly polite to all the regular patrons and seemed fixated on the Accord Keepers in attendance as well as the theatre troupe itself, so civilian casualties were kept to a minimum. The actors, in a heartwarming show of theatre spirit, then continued the play after the pandemonium had settled. Truly there has never been a group more dedicated to their artistic craft than this repertory company. Let all of Wroat give them a well-earned standing ovation!

It is likely that future plays will not be as hazardously dramatic as the Accord Keepers move on to other investigations. It seems that trouble follows them in the entertainment business, as there is a growing record of incidents at plays and concerts that seems to follow them. The Keepers were seen earlier at Morgrave University and later at the local prison. Word has it they interrogated Dr. Dennis Mallory, DDS, the mad dentist behind the incident at The Restful Crown, as shortly after their departure it was announced he would accept a plea deal. Dr. Mallory is charged with 19 counts of murder as well as various medical malpractice, assault, kidnapping, and other felony charges. He will be sentenced to 50 years imprisonment without parole under the plea deal. Prior, he had been facing a minimum life sentence if convicted on all counts.

This critic says that if you see the Accord Keepers in the theatre, better book another showing, but otherwise don’t let that deter you from visiting the Royal Breland Theatre and enjoying SHADOW PLAY II, now on a three month run in Wroat. See it before it’s gone!
