Dust in the Wind
The Khyber shard shipment we pursue has continued its course to Arcanix, we find that House Orrin accepted this job anonymously and have no idea who they were selling such powerful shards to, the only lead are a flag system used to identify the handoff in the Eldritch Woods. Going into the woods, a group of creatures ambush us and we learn from their speaking corpses that they were sent by a wizard to intercept this shipment of shards but were defeated. We find a tattered remnants of the flag used in the handoff and make our way to Arcanix to have this flag identified.
The locale is impressive, and we arrange a meeting with the mayor in hopes of getting ourselves up into the towers without exorbitant expense. He agrees and directs us to the resident Vexillologist in the towers who informs us that this flag represents the Lord of Dust, a powerful cabal of Rakshasa who are planning to free the Overlords, a powerful group of demons who ruled the world millions of years ago. That sounds bad.
