Objective: Find the whereabouts of Magister Thalor Venz and Maldran Thule in connection to Soul harvesting Ritual in the Necropolis of Atur
Outcome: The forms of Magister Thalor Venz and Maldran Thule were united in their avarice as the merged into one form as both that was able to made mortal once more by the keepers. With signed correspondences of more warcrimes leading into Cere and Karrnath
Following the events of the Closed Circle Mage’s tower, a new set of keepers set off to the Land of Karrnath to pursue Magister Thalor Venz and Maldran Thule. After arriving at Atur we first got a lay of the land to be able to make sense of where two people who should have been long since dead were hiding. We had luck finding a smuggler’s map of the catacombs that said where a majority of the paths to take and which to avoid within the catacombs, But first we had to find a way inside the necropolis without having to listen to the timeshare pitch of *liberating the essence inside of you* from the followers of the ” Blood of Vol” so we talked to a grave keeper who’s sibling had been forever altered by the closeness to the devouring dark and gave some critic help through drawings. If I can survive long enough to mend that dwarf’s mind for split one from their beard seems a cruel punishment.
As we found an opening within the Necropolis we wandered deeper soon the entire passageway was silent as a grave. I produced some finders balm for HL to be able to locate the Dalkyr skull with ease annd one light catapult later we could hear once more. So we might need to prepare for anti magic capabilities if we are so unfortunate to cross paths with a living dalkyr. As we went lower I lost my footing to a phantom the pushed me over a precipice but a feather fall soon had we floating after my companions as the y walked the rest of the way down.
We then needed to solve a manner of puzzles befitting two wizards in their own specializations to unravel an orb of power that connected to a orb of Khorvaire. With the door opened and a ritual being chanted above we crept up to flank the two necromancers one above and one below on platforms with an undulating black liquid. While the Masgister began to remark on how outmatched the mortals were. A Path to Grave pulled all the undead defenses away for a Psi Blade to find a Critical home within the Demi Lich’s Skull. After the first exchange of blows the magister put up a wall of Force around himself . So we contended ourselves to pummeling his Lieutenant who remained on the ground. With enough blows felled on Thule they soon became a twisted amalgamation of undeath. We smote the renewed creature and picked through their correspondences. Looks like time to see what they wrot with so many transfers of souls within Project Divinity.
