Jinnis, T’ggar, Sam, Baldwin and I were assigned to investigate a recent change in Nadai- people are getting microdosed without their knowledge, and it’s gotten so bad that the critical care wards in the hospitals are totally overwhelmed.We started out the mission on a great note when assassins burst through the window to kill Cypress before we even left! Izanna took Cypress and abandoned us immediately (thanks for that Izanna -_-), but it was okay because we murdere the shit out of them. They didn’t seem to be from any House or church, but they were affiliated with water somehow…

After that, we went to talk to some Nadai victims in the hospital- including one of Jinnis and I’s old circus buddies, Petra!!! Obviously it sucked to see her sick like that, but she was super cool and let us in on how she ended up with the Nadai in the first place- it’s being passed out at raves! (Really not very surprising when you think about it.) We staked out the dropoff point and followed a very sketchy guy with a weird brand on his neck back to an equally sketchy tourist-trap-slash-extremely-obvious-front called The Mistress of Maelstroms.

We managed to sneakily follow Sketchy Guy into the back rooms and listened in on his conversation with his boss Elsie. She’s got a magic plumbing pipe she uses to control water and brand her employees and also walk, and is apparently under contract with a mysterious old foreign lady who only contacts her through dreams. Definitely not suspicious. She’s supposed to stockpile massive amounts of powdered Nadai, then spread it through the lower levels of the city using steam. We manage to stop her pretty easily (the phrase SHOULD be ‘like stealing a cane from an old lady,’ haha), and convince her and Sketchy Guy to flip and help us instead! I mean, it’s not like we gave them a choice, but still…

They promise to help us stop the hag’s plan next week, so tune in then to see what happens!
