DM Rj (Tanarion d’Tharashk)
Keepers: Doug ♂ (Lola ♀), Alan (T’ggar), Christian (Asher d’Deneith), Aaron (Xander), David S (N-D311 “En-Dell”), Matt P (Hollywood) [He/Him]
Objective: Quell the violence outpouring at the Arena with minimal casualties while figuring out what the hells the realm of madness was doing Later when Draal Dhur made his full appearance astride a Shadow Dragon keep the Gate Keeper Druid Alive and continuing the Ritual to banish them back to Xoriat.
Outcome: Keeping a crowd calm during a planar incursion is difficult, any souls lost during the fight empowered Draal Dhur & His Shadow Dragon, We were able to subdue the Shadow Dragon and Survive multiple attempted cranium extractions from Draal Dhur through the playful flames of Scorch the wildfire spirit of N-D311.
The Concert full of a crowd on uppers, downers, and mind warping words isn’t the usual evening wind down for the keepers hopefully. We quickly found groups agitated to violence, sleeping on the ground, or trying to escape the arena. Our successful work of Rallying the Shadow Marches Quickly backfired on us as it was very difficult to evacuate the arena as nearly every person in the Arena was armed and the sky was purple screaming whale noises at them. As we began to try to quell the Chaos we quickly found any soul taken down lethally was drawn into the sky and began to glow. Most of the agitated members of the crowd were able to be subdued, slept, or stabilized but they still managed to do some serious impact on the crowds and the soul light collection began to spin gathering other souls from different locations.
This was then countered by the rhythmic thrumming of the Gate keeper ritual. We were then no longer within the Arena but astride the Leylines with the Gatekeepers. We quickly spread out to not be a tasty target for the shadow dragon as we set to protecting our own individual druid during the incursion. Thiis drew the Ire of Draal Dhur who mutiplied himself as was found at multiple incursions across Khorvaire. The maddening powers of Xoriat had us sometimes on the ropes or near a mindflayer embrace but the quick and explosive teleportation of Scorch saved both Gatekeeper and Oath Keepers alike. Myself included the stunning static that turned to silence with the only sound being a beak upon raw metal as Draal attempted to abscond with my brain but the armor held for the moment for Scorch’s triumpant entrance and my teleportation into the ground with about the same bones I stated with. The dragon was quelled as the Leylines began to erupt with Fire as Draal was once again banished for the moment.
So Scorch now gets to pick any sort of food or kindling they might need whenever we are on assignment together.
