Over the past three weeks, ten individuals have been hospitalized, three of whom remain in critical condition. Reports suggest the drug’s effects now appear with smaller doses, leading investigators to suspect long-term micro-dosing as a method of gradual exposure.

The investigation intensified after a group of assassins launched a brazen attack in a loom. With no house sigils, the attackers left behind a shattered magical focus laced with water-elemental inscriptions—evidence pointing to a larger, coordinated operation. The weaponized focus resembled holy water with a silvery surface sheen, though its dark core hinted at the depth of oceanic magic.

Following a trail from medical records tied to victims—including a former circus animal trainer named Petra—the team uncovered a warehouse rave believed to be a distribution point. Petra’s contact, Nowak, bore a unique high-pressure water-etched brand resembling a fishhook—another signature of elemental magic.
