SHARN – At the request of the kalashtar enclave in the Overlook neighborhood, Accord Keepers were drawn into a web of conspiracy involving a professor at Morgrave University who had been possessed, excursions to Xendrik in search of dragonshards, dimensional seals and strage gates, and encompassing it all, the machinations of the Cults of the Dragon Below.

At least seven youth of the notably sparse species having gone missing in the space of a month, the already insular kalashtar of Overlook were reluctant to trust in outsiders, but their elder, a man named Halkhad, reached out for assistance.  The first three had been in contact with a Professor Alston of Morgrave University, and had reached out to the following four missing youths in a letter.

Several of the Keepers recognized the name Alston as that of a researcher who had been possessed and involved in events surrounding a strange gate in the Cogs and pulverized warforged.  Upon making their way to his office at Margrave, the Keepers learned from another researcher that Professor Alston was currently on a leave of absence in a Jorasco healing house following the events in the Cogs.  However, Alston’s peer, after being asked about the kalashtars’ interest in psi crystals and how they related to dragonshards, were directed to Shava House, a collection of like-minded individuals interested in dragonshard research.

While engaging in discussion at Shava House, the identity of the individual whom the kalashtar had been corresponding with was discovered – one Damon Vennet.  Here the trail went somewhat cold, as Vennet, a visiting scholar from the University of Wynarn in Fairhaven, had already departed for the Shadow Marches.
