Back to the Keep, Back to Back Battles
Keepers: U3-N.R, Jinnis, Khale, T’ggar, Sam, Ratha, N-D311, Bella
Objectives: Muster forces and defend Sterngate from invading goblin armies.
Outcome: We were able to arrive at Sterngate in time to defeat the goblin army, but now are concerned that this was a distraction to draw attention away from Whitehearth.
There’s never any rest. As soon as we settle one conflict, another crops up, and away we go. No sooner did we liberate Kennrun than Sterngate was being attacked by goblins.
We managed to message T’ggar to send us a lightrail, where we sardined as much of our army as possible. We landed shortly outside of Sterngate and marched in. We managed to flank the goblin army as another group of Keepers was deeper in the fortress.
We were outnumbered but as we dispatched the leadership, the enemy army morale dropped and the lower ranks quickly scattered. Sterngate is safe for now, but as we help rebuild, I can’t help but wonder if this was a distraction. We’ve left eyes off of Whitehearth, leaving a gaping blind spot at the edge of the Mournlands…
